Living Room stuff!

Finally - a room worth living in!
Everything in this photo is for sale, so if you or someone you know is looking to furnish a new pad, this is the place to do some one-stop shopping! (Prices below)

The futon opens up to a double bed (see below). Fun fact: this futon was featured in the set of Stephen Sondheim's 'Company' at Vagabond Players in 2013! As such, there are a few make-up stains on it (I have six tattoos that needed to be covered for the show), but I have found a Queen-size fitted sheet makes an excellent slipcover for this piece. It has been lightly used, living in the den and serving as a guest bed. It has been a haven for two cats, but the faux-leather has been thoroughly cleaned. Unfortunately, these affectionate felines have left a few tiny punctures in the surface of the couch, but they are subtle and barely visible. Again, a fitted sheet would alleviate this issue.
The coffee table has a black-brown finish top and aluminum finish legs/base. There are a few scrapes and dings in it, but only cosmetic and nothing that a fresh coat o' paint wouldn't fix! It can also serve as a TV stand for a small or medium-sized TV.  38"L X 24"W X 11" H

The rug is a low-pile, in almost-new condition. Black-and-white polka dots in a fun, off-kilter pattern.
6'5"L X 4'4" W

The framed print is an eclectic mix of aesthetics including a well-known Renaissance model, whimsical modern, technological themes (find the space invader!), and a creepy kid standing on a chair. Red accents set on a monochrome background. It's funky, yet I get compliments on it constantly!

Perhaps you are less inclined to encourage overnight guests. You're looking for a living room that says, "You can come over, you can sit here and chat or watch a movie, but you know darn well you will be sleeping elsewhere." If that's the case, then have I got the living room for you!

The sofa is just the right size for two people to sit comfortably, and three people to sit in borderline awkwardness. I would not recommend watching a Louis CK comedy special with your parents while all three of you sit on this couch. (Not that I've had this experience personally, of course...) The upholstery is a soft fawn-gray weave, and the cushions are made of memory foam, which is suuuuper comfy! (So if you're feeling generous enough to allow a guest to sleep here, it's actually a pretty nice stay.) The cushions are not removable, so you will never have to vacuum underneath them - bonus!

The downside: this couch has some cosmetic deficiencies. There are a few light stains - the ghosts of clumsy past. (C'mon. We all know the thrill of eating that ill-advised burrito in our pajamas, basking in the soothing glow of Netflix in the middle of the night. Don't hate.) The more obvious flaw, however, is thanks to my orange tabby; I call him 'the Willful One'. You have probably known, or at least heard of, a cat like this: no matter how many scratching devices he is presented with, be they sissal, corrugated cardboard, or what-have-you, he insists on waking me out of a dead sleep in the middle of the night by sinking his claws into the arm of this couch. The effect is sort of a loopy, pulled-thread texture on the couch's right-hand side. tl/dr: This couch would be great for a first apartment or a house with kids and/or pets who are just going to inevitably ruin your furniture anyway.

The rug is medium-high pile, in decent condition. I vacuum it weekly, but it lives in a high-traffic zone so it is not as fluffly as it once was. However, the pattern of crimson concentric circles* is just as rad as it ever was, and visitors love this rug! 6'7"L X 6'7"W

The framed print will be appreciated by art history majors, science nerds, and people who like to go to museums (or would like to go to museums if they had more free time). A set of five replicas of pages from Leonardo de Vinci's notebook. It's neat, and I wish I could take it with me.
